matte boxs and wide adapters?

I thought of dividing my 2 questions into seperate threads but instead ill just ask the questions and anyone chime in with answers/testimonies to any of it if possible.

im looking for a matte box that wont break the bank and will also fit the below criteria:
-one that accepts side flags (to create fully boxed look)
-cheap
-can work with wide angle adapters
-could possibly work with anamorph (not too important but 16:9 could be needed in the future)
-no bellows
-professional look (something clients will see)

i think cavision makes a 4x4 non bellows version with rods. I havent seen any pictures but im trying to find out if it can attach side flaps. So how do formatte, cavision, and chrosziel compare. Im throwing out century because their units are the same price as chrosziel and essentially the same thing price wise.

also is the century optics .7x a good wide angle to go with? Safer seas advertises the official .8x from panasonic but theyre the same price i think. i need a wide angle that can also be zoomed through.
thanks for the help

Re: matte boxs and wide adapters?

Hey avenger, checkout the market place forum, i'm selling a 4x4 mattebox with rails that works with the 16:9 lens. I'm also selling the 16:9 lens. MadDougK.

Ok ill check it out. btw dont you custom build your rigs/matte box? I just started constructing plans for a stabilizer, crane, and follow focus but a matte box seems difficult to truly create well. Homebuiltstabilizers.com is a great reference site.

Does anyone know of a good DIY matte box site?
