I own the Indiesnap, but the DV version only uses 3 X 4 filters, also it screws to the lens itself, and must be rotated for polarizer use. Using this matte box limits you to the OEM lens and rather expensive (and rare) 3 X 4 filters. If you have the anamorphic adapter or any others, i.e. fisheye, tele, prepare not to use them with the Indiesnap.

Perhaps a rod-mounted matte box would be worth the money, if you consider that you must make a choice between using the mattebox and the equipment and filters you want/need to for a given shot. For example, I can use the Indiesnap, which does a fine job, but I can't use my follow-focus, and I can't use any of my lens adapters or 72mm filters, or my rod and support system.

In the end, if I want to do exterior, long, follow-focus shots, I will end up taping black foil french flags on my tele adapter rather than being able to use the Indiesnap.

Just get a bellow mattebox on ebay, they work perfectly.
I bought one for $12

Definetly get one with the rod system. I know they are a lot more spendy, but they don't pull down on the lenses, and if you ever wanted to add a follow focus you could.
