matte box?

I was forced into needing one -- it's the only way to use filters with the 16x9 lens on the DVX. (well I suppose there's always gaff tape) It's also nice for cutting out flare. I've only got a french flag on right now, but there are times when I wish I had batwings as well. Here's mine. (Chrosziel 4x4) With the 16x9 lens and this matte box I can't zoom wider than Z16 on the DVX... otherwise I get vignetting that shows pieces of the box. I've never used it without a lens adapter, but I imagine that configuration may not have such a problem.

I've heard good things about the matteblox system as well, though never used one.
