Matte Box from India

Bought one. Including shipping, $309 Bought it on the 9th, received it on the 14th.

Matte box with a French flag and 2 filter holders. Both rotate at the same time, so a grad + a polarizer ain't gonna work, but otherwise...

Rails and base included. Construction: ABS, except metal flag and base & rods. Decent workmanship. Not disappointed.

Matte box has eyebrows. Filter holders look to be a knock-off of Century Optics. Maybe the whole thing is, but I can't find a model that has a double-filter, both rotating together.

Ahh I was looking at these the other day and wondering about thier build quality. Thanks for posting your thoughts and pics. Please post again after a little use. Im curious as to your longterm opinion :)

Probably won't get a whole lotta wear-and-tear on it...I don't film much here.

More likely to get dusty than dropped.

I should be getting a set of filters in a month or so (backordered), so I'll at least do some fuctionality tests.

looks like the cinevate one. What is that line in the last image, seems to be right in the middle of where the lens is.

I have the same matte box (link). It's great for the overall camera look and for filters. But it's all but sturdy.
