Matte box for extra thick filters

I'm in the market for a mattebox that accepts 3x3" and 4x4" filters thicker than 4mm (which seems to be the standard), say up to 6-7 mm. Can anyone confirm by direct experience what brands between the main players (Cavisiom, Century, Chrosziel, Vocas, etc.) provides that flaxibility?

Tks

Hi lutnik,

I can tell you that most Vocas filterframes can support filters up to 5mm.
The filterslots of our matteboxes are 6mm wide, so you "could" slide the fliter into the filterslot directly. Ofcourse this is not recomended because you could damage your filters, but it might be an option for you non the less.

Hi Lutnik,
our filtertrays are 8mm thick, so we can make trays with a depth for up to 7mm thick filters for you. Have a look at www.geardear.com , usually we have 4mm wide slots for 4mm filters. Usually the filterstages of all mattebox manufacturers are not able to accept thicker filters than 6mm.
Hope this helps
