Matrox MXO2 Mini w/ Max

I just hooked up my Matrox MXO2 mini and set it up with the settings to match the project settings and when I playback footage in the browser or on the timeline it plays back fine in real time however over on my HDTV monitor it is displaying a freeze frame. The odd thing is that the audio is in real time though! Wherever I pause the playhead a new still frame will show up on my external monitor.

The question is how do I get real time playback on my external monitor via the Matrox? That was the sole reason for buying that box so I could monitor my playback on an external monitor.

Thanks!

Having had the similar issue I'd suggest following:
-Turn off the system, unplug everything. Power the matrox mini first, hook up the comp host cable and turn on the comp.
-If it doesnt work uninstall matrox (under application folder you'll see uninstaller) Make sure version you have 2.0..150, not 0149
-If problem persist try with a different 1080p monitor (yep not all monitors are compatabile, my benq still acts with it, had to connect it to a Samsung syncmaster)
-Customer service is friendly give them a call.
-For just monitoring purposes I found Blackmagic is simpler and more reliable, if not taking advantage of MAX H264 compression it provides I don't recommend MXO2 mini for just monitoring.
It is a product with great promise, but not solid. I m waiting for September update to make a final decision to keep it or look for an alternative.

Shane you responded to my post over on Creative Cow. I got it working last night...Thanks! VGurcu version 2.0 is only if you have Snow Leopard. I still have regular Leopard. I will be using the H.264 compression but yea I was back and forth between Matrox and AJA. I forgot all about Blackmagic!
