Matrox and after6.5

hi, i recently bought a matrox 100 extreme pro, and i have ae 6.5 , well, how can i see the composition in my tv monitor?? becouse i can play any video from window media and i can see on tv , but not when i am working in after...how can i do this? i heard there im need a plugin or something like that...i hope any body can helpme please...thanks
 
Have you installed the WYSIWYG plug-in for AE that comes with the Matrox drivers?

The WYSIWYG plug-in to AE does not install by default, you have to install it manually from the X.Tools CD.
 
i guess its installed already becouse there is an icon down on the rigth corner (tv monitor) is that the plugin?

If the plug-in for AE is not installed that icon is for the WYSIWYG plug-in for PPro, Encore and WMP.

Plug-ins for AE, Photoshop, 3DSmax and Light Wave must be installed seperatly, they do not install by default.
 
you also have to turn the plug-in on in AE .. i believe its under the file menu under the export function if i remember correct. you can access the plugin settings there, and select to turn it on or off.
 
well i couldnt find the installer for AE so i try to download the plugin for AE 6.5 from http://www.matrox.com/mga/workstation/video/support/drivers/home.cfm and it doesnt work , i guess its a broked link or someting becouse when I open it appearce somenthing like this ( Setup was unable to find a display adapter compatible whith this plugin in and then installation ended prematurely becouse of an error)...I find in http://www.creativecow.net/show.php?page=/articles/onneweer_barend/parhelia/index.html there is an example of the plugin but is not the same thing in the matrox page.......could anybody download?????????????????????

You are downloading the wrong plug-in. You should use the plug-in for RT.X100 and not the plug-in to Matrox graphic cards.

How to find the plug-in:
1. Insert the CD with Matrox X.Tools in your CD/DVD drive.
2. Double click on Setup.exe if the install dont start by itself
3. Select Install Adobe After Effects plug-in from the Matrox RT.X Menu
