So we did an all day shoot last week on a green screen and decided to shoot at 480i at 30p (since we thought that it would be easier to pull the key at 30p)
Today I tried importing the mxf files into premiere to get the 'import failure' message with the matrox presets.
What are my options? We cannot re shoot this and we do not have much time left. I need to get this footage into the time line and I find it very frustrating that while searching these forums for others similar experiences there still has not been and update to the matrox system. I heard in others posts that there are third party conversions but do these work? are there any freeware ones?
The other thing that is starting to concern me is that im not getting playback off the Firestore when im connected to the camera. Is this because I already clicked 'organize p2' on the firestore?
