i need to do a matrix parody. i have to recreate the bridge of the nebucanezzer--where the humans jack into the matrix--is it easiest to do this with a green screen and animate a simulated bridge? build a set? what is the easiest?
 
By 'easiest' do you mean easiest to shoot? Having a set is the easiest to shoot. Because you have few limitations.

If you shoot green screen you will probably want to always have the camera locked or moving on one plane so that you dont have to track 3-d moves with your camera.

It depends on how long your sequence is and what you need to show.

Not having seen those movies in a while I seem to just remember that dentist chair looking thing and some tech gear in the background.

If you dont have money i think you would be better off having the foregroung look good and have the backgorund sort of drop off in into darkness.
