Matching HVX 200A to DVX 100B

I tried posting this in the HVX forum with no luck...

I have a 2-camera shoot in a few days and my DVX has been giving me some dropped frames so I'm thinking of bringing my HVX.

Is it possible to match an HVX 200A with a DVX 100B? Would it be a matter of matching up the scene files?

And can the time code be synced via firewire between these two cameras?

You can't just match up the scene file settings, the cameras will not look the same even with the same settings. You're going to have to go through and A/B the two cameras on a monitor to get them to look as similar as possible.

Yes you can sort of timecode sync them; it'll stick for most of the shoot but every time you toggle between camera and playback mode it'll lose a few frames.
