Matching Hex Colors

Hi, I am trying to match hex colors in final cut to those of a webpage I am making in order for the video to blend in with the background. I have matched the RGB values in Final cut to the hex code rgb values and that did not work and I also imported a file from photoshop(which perfectly matches the color on my website if I use that separately), but once final cut exports it the color is slightly washed out. Anybody have any suggestions?

Its for a webpage so I am using JW player to view it on the webpage. Would I be better to look into hex color issues of JW player for this than of final cut?
