MASK in VEGAS4 and VEGAS5

If I making mask in VEGAS4 as on PICTURE

and I select REGION and PRINT TO DV VEGAS4 is not render !!!

If I make mask in VEGAS5 (ar load the project from VEGAS4) as on PICTURE

and I select REGION and PRINT TO DV in VEGAS5, VEGAS5 is RENDER !!!

WHY ???? :-[

What region are you trying to use in Vegas 5? The picture does not make it clear.

If I am understanding correctly; you have to stretch the MASK out, extending it as far as you wish to use it. CLICK and DRAG

If I SELECT REGION mmm IN VEGAS 5 and PRINT TO DV - VEGAS is RENDERING :-/

WHY? :'(

If I SELECT REGION mmm IN VEGAS 4 and PRINT TO DV - Video is printing to my DV CAMERA without render (in region mmm I don´t use mask)

If I SELECT REGION mmm IN VEGAS 5 and PRINT TO DV - Video is print to my DV CAMERA with RENDER (in region mmm I also don´t use mask, but VEGAS5 is RENDER :-[)

PS: my project render in VEGAS 5 LONGER as in VEGAS 4 ??? VEGAS 4 render ONLY MASK, but VEGAS 5 RENDER ALL PROJECT :-[

Do you have "recompress frames" set in Vegas 5 and not in Vegas 4? That would probably do it.

MOJE -- I don't have Vegas in front of me to double-check; I can do it later. But check the Help file for "recompress."
