Marshall V-R70P-HDA : flickering problem?

Hi,

I have only had my Marshall monitor for a few weeks and have hardly used it. Recently I mounted it to find the screen has some sort of flicker problem. The monitor has not been droped or damaged.

It looks like its flickering from the camera signal to black in a strobe light effect. The battery is fully charged and I have done everything I can think of to fix it but nothing is working.

Has anyone experienced this problem before?

If it needs serviced where would I take it?

Thanks

Yep, I had a very similar problem with my Marshall when I first got it. I sent it in to the company and they said there was a bad board inside. I was sent a brand new monitor a few days later.

Thanks for the info DC.

I searched a bit more and found some postings that metioned if you leave the monitor on for a few minutes it sometimes will go away.

So I gave it a shot and it straightened things out but after paying $1,400 for this monitor I think this problem is unforgivable.

Do you think I should send it back and have them fix the board? Will they fix it for free?

You're right. If I were you, I would definitely try to get an exchange. My monitor works fine and so should yours.

Keep us posted on how things are going.
