After attending NAB this past year and scoping out the 7" monitors, I choose the
Marshall V-LCD70P-3GSDI-PM 7” HD Monitor for a couple of reasons.

I like the fact the batteries for my HPX-170 also power this monitor.
The resolution looks beautiful. It's lightweight. I also like the features included
with it. False color and peaking just to name a few.

It all comes down to what your specific needs are and how deep your pockets are.

Good luck.

The marshall I need is the hdmi version so the money is not too much thant the others. The only problem is thas some guys are finding problems with false color through hdmi in dslrs (not accurate false colors when clipping), whereas via component works good

I would contact Marshall Electronics and ask them to respond to this issue.
Mark Fisher, Bernie Keach and Martin Bradford at Marshall Electronics.

These three gentlemen are very accessible and are willing to help.

I've been pondering the 70p for over 6 months now, and am finally making the plunge in about 2 weeks. For me the combo of false color, red focus, 1:1 pixels, all through the push of one button totally sells this thing.

The big one for me is 1:1, and while some other monitors have it, this model is the only one that has it on a function button and not buried in a menu......and under $1000 usd.
