Marshall LCD70P at 24PN?

I've been looking around at LCD's, and I really like the feature set on this monitor....BUT, in the manual it states it can't receive 720p at 23.98 or 24....anyone using one of these who can hook it up to an HVX-200 and let me know if it can display footage at 24PN?

Nick, you may want to look into the SmallHD DP1. It can receive any HD signal with no issue, not to mention that it's just a downright gorgeous monitor! http://www.smallhd.com

This as well as a few others was on my small list of LCDs I was interested in, but I like the fact that the Marshall has red peaking(focus) and false color....I don't mind having to hit a function button to get my good focus in exchange for red and false...sure it's a few hundred more bucks, but thems some cool features

My .02... I tested the 1:1 pixel mapping of a 800x480 monitor vs. the HD resolution of my SmallHD DP1 monitor and the 1280x768 resolution of the SmallHD is superior for critical focusing; it's simply much sharper. The false color feature of the Marshall on the other hand, is pretty cool, but my HPX-170 has a built-in waveform which works just a hair less well for setting exposure IMO...

Cheers,

I'm using an HVX-200, so I'm unable to do this...I wish someone would just give us a full 720 7" with false, red, waveform, all the adjustment for calibration, weighing in at 1 pound and at a $500usd price tag! lol.

Wishful thinking I guess...I really want something I can use handheld, on sticks, and on my Steadicam....one of the big reason I like the Marshall cause it only weighs in at 1.3 pounds. I can go heavier on sticks and steadi, but since I want one monitor to use for all functions(to keep overall cost down)...I'm really swaying over to the Marshall.
