Marshall 7" or TV Logic 5.6"

Heya, recently my Steadicam Pilot monitor took a blow and is now pretty much useless. Good riddance anyways, it's not really that good.
So now I have to invest in a new one and I thought that I might as well buy something remotely useful.

The two I'm considering are:

[h=1]TVLogic VFM-056W[/h]
and

Marshall High Bright 7"

Price is similar. I've tried the TVLogic monitor through rental, but the Marshall has image flip and that might be the deal breaker as I have been asked to do a few low mode shots here and there.
Apart from that, I can't really see what I'm missing from the Marshall compared to the TVLogic. Why HDMI? Well I was thinking that when on sticks, I could pass the signal on to the dir. either through wireless or just cable.
The Pilot runs a composite cable anyways, so at the moment I won't benefit from 3G or SDI.

Filming with the FS100 and 5D mk II (mk III soon) by the way.

Thank you for any comments and ideas

I think reflections are the big problem with steadicam monitors and brightness - if you operate outside

I bought a Transvideo monitor - daylight view ability is excellent but resolution is poor (for the one I could fly/afford)

If you have to ask.. forget it

Basically I was so p - off by not seeing I didn't care any more

About twice the price of the others and the image is really terrible - but viewable

You must focus with marks (or pre zoom check) or use AF and check the Histo to meter - the screen is 3 stops brighter than reality in daylight mode

There is a monitor shootout on steadicamforum

Yeah I saw that, but I just got the feeling that it wasn't being maintained :S I love the viewability of the 651stx and that would be my next bet, but no image flip? ´:(
So twice the price of the others arent' that bad, but argh... Just can't afford that right now.

I think in steadicam you spend spend spend .. if you want to take a $ for operating

Why image flip ? I think poor mans lo mode doesn't need it

I wanted to invest in the cage so I could save the editor the trouble of having to flip every single clip. I know it shouldn't be my problem, but what the heck.
