I rarely have anything bad to say about anyone and this is no different. I always like to see finished projects people have shot. I liked it, even dark. It moved along well enough to hold my attention, and I liked the ending. It is worthy of the prize! Good job!
Congrats Stewart. I have to admit, I am shocked there was only one entry this month. I was thinking for sure it was an April Fools joke. But nevertheless, good work.
People have mentioned this being dark, here and in other posts. I, for one, think it fits the mood of the piece. Good story, nice camera work, and decent lighting. But the voice sounded odd. Very digitized on my end. Don't know if it was the way you compressed it or the way you intended it. But thanks for entering and keeping the contest alive.
It needed a little color correction and the watermark wasn't fun, but the film moved along nicely. The voice sounded processed because of the web compression. I liked the device of cutting between the instructions and the action. The ending was pure cheese, but enjoyable cheese. I would definitely have liked to see some blood come out of the thief's mouth with a closeup of his face as he gets the doublecross. It would be nice to see a nicely compressed version of this.

how do you do colour/color correction, is that just making sure its correctly white balanced or is it something else? i think it has something to do with colour/color bars and mathching them up?
