I've had the opportunity to purchase a nearly new 661 at a good price, and after looking around online at the reviews, I've decided to go for it. My H4n is a nice recorder, but I think the Marantz is a good step up (and it's construction more durable, a big plus for someone like me). I'm going through all the posts here on the forum about the model, and am working on collecting a set of tips and tricks people have come across using it, so I'd love some fresh, up-to-date input (many of the posts are from a year or so ago).
