Many Exporting issues!

Good Times!
Well it seems every time I export using out of QT conversion, and or QT movie I get little render flashes (the black frame with the blue render test). The oddest part is that it is two finished pieces put together, and it is happening in the middle of them. But on the source they are fine. What is going on. Why does my computer hate me. Thanks folks.

I really need beer.

I'd open the Sequence in the Timeline window, find a spot in the video that does this, then zoom in really close, to see frame level, and make sure there is no gap. I personally don't know anything else that causes this. And make sure you are rendering out every level of render. Go to the Sequence menu, make sure that the lists under Render and Render All have everything in that list checked off.

The odd thing is I do a select all, render all, nothing needs to rendered. It all looks fine, no red, but still comes up this way if I try to export directly to avi instead of a quicktime format.

I'd try to delete all the render files under render manager, and export it without
rendering the sequence. It usually solves many of rendering-exporting problems
that occur to me.

WARNING-- If your project envolves a huge rendering process, you should duplicate your project first before you do this. If you haven't used render manager, please ask before you do it.

"Select All" has nothing to do with "Render All", only with "Render Selected". And if you need AVI, forget it, QTPro sucks at AVI, but then, AVI just sucks. Get Flip4Mac if you HAVE to have a windows format, and use WMV. Microsoft itself hasn't lifted a finger to develop or support AVI in years. It's dead, stay away from it.
