Manual switcher box

Hi,

I'm looking for a small manual switcher box to switch from my HPX170 to my HPX 250 via HD/SDI. The output will be connected to a projector.
We don't have the budget for a video switcher, neither for 2 cameramans...so, My HPX170 will be a fixed camera (wide shot) and I will operate my HPX250 (closed shots) and the manual switcher box.

Something like this (but, it has to handle HD/SDI)

Or maybe a VGA swither? I could go out SDI of the cameras, put a SDI to VGA adapter/box and the go through the switcher directly in the projector.

Thanks!

Do you care about whether the cuts as seen on the screen are instantaneous, stable and noise-free? If you can live with an image that might roll and take a few frames to stabilize, anything down to a plain SPDT switch could work (possibly including that Pelco switcher from B&H). If you need production-quality cuts that are properly synchronized and guaranteed to switch during the interval between frames, then the circuitry becomes much, much more complicated and expensive, especially for SDI sources.

There are a lot of applications (security cameras, testing/aligning cameras, scientific and technical video) where good cuts aren't really needed and you can get by with very simple switching techniques.
