Hey Guys,
I'm seriously thinking about possibly modifying my DVX100 Andromeda further....
Nikon Mount.
I know its nuts.
BUT, I have my hands on the actual camera service manual, complete with instructions on how to *properly* get access to the DVX100 lens, and its actually a completely encased lens assembly that IS removable from the camera.
Now I'm NOT stupid, I do my homework on these kinds of things, and I found posts by a guy who tried this years back with less success who posted pics, but I can't find them online anymore. Does anyone here have them? I'd love to see his pictures. My service manual actually has some color photos, and even exploded view diagrams on the entire camera, but I'd love to see his photos still.
Juan at Reel Stream said years ago that it would tough to put a lens in because of the chasis design, something about a hunk with "controls" in it needing to be moved somehow. I think this may be where the other guy made his mistake, it sounds like he might have damaged some important stuff, and from what I've learned, getting at the lens requires you to go past the board that has all of the cameras AD's etc... in it.
Well anyhow, any shots would be great!
Thanks!
