Hey guys,

Have recently bought the Manfrotto 504HD Carbon Fibre system and was looking to rig a SmallHD AC7 monitor onto the side of the tripod.

What would be the best accessory to do this with this tripod?

Using a Canon C100 with a Atomos Ninja 2 fixed to the top.

Cheers,
Toby

Do you actually want the monitor mounted to the side of the tripod, or do you want it mounted so it moves with camera movement?

Use a magic arm screwed into one of the red threaded studs in the side. That's what they are for. If it comes without the studs Manfrotto sell them separately. There is also a company that make an adaptor stud for the same purpose that screws into one of the pan bar rosettes: http://4dslr.com/4dslr/Product/10
Cheers
Patrick.

Thanks very much - I had googled the Magic Arm previously but I wasn't sure if this was going to be my best option.
