Wondering if it is possible to put the 701hdv on the 732cy legs. The post over at cheesy cam implies that you can't put a fluidhead on these legs, but they both seem to have the same 3/8"attachment fitting? I'm new to this stuff, and hoping someone can clarify this for me. (looks I cant link over there).
I'm also wondering what the difference might be between getting these carbon fiber legs or the 190xb aluminum legs. I'm studying abroad in Europe for a semester, and lighter/shorter certainly has an appeal, but I'd like to make sure that I'm getting something sturdy, stable and capable of the same work. Also, will the two pound differential really be noticeable?
I'll be using a panasonic gh2 (for video), so camera weight isn't much of a concern.
