Manfrotto 502

I've started to test out this newer Manfrotto 502 and i'm liking it. What do you guys think of it?
I've tried out the 501 but not the 701 and others in this price-point. I've tried Sachter/Miller systems.
For bang4buck, i think the 502 is a notch above in quality to the 501.
I wrote a short review. This is my first 'higher quality' head purchase.

Nice review. I was considering the 502 flat base as a do all sort of head. Since it can work with sliders in the future and whatnot.
I was gonna combine it with the 755XB legs to gain back the levelling ability.
