Manfrotto 502 or 504, as an upgrade to 128rc

Hi,
i have a manfrotto tripod 190xb with a 128rc fluid head. (the fluid head is average) I use it with a sony hxr-nx30

I would like to upgrade: buy a fluid head and use the 190xb legs

Is the manfrotto 504 would be a better choice than 502 for my settings (a small camcorder) ?

Manfrotto 502's Tilt Lock knob is on the wrong side of the head.
