manfrotto 128RC head, 755B legs any experience?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone can share their experiences and thoughts on the manfrotto 128RC head and the 755B legs?

I read that the legs are not spiked and have got a centre column. Some people seem to think that the centre colum makes it unstable and isn't good. I got an offer for this combo for $300.

I have 755B and Manfrotto 503 head and it works find.
