Man, I just got a taste that I'm not in my youth anymore....

uncle - ha ha ha, now that's rich!

Well, I will admit, as a lover of film it was only a few years back when I got into reading about Hitchcock and watching a few of his movies.

Everybody knows "Leave it to Beaver" but were it not for reruns, I would have never known about "Father Knows Best."

What do we learn from old movies? Simplicity, less is more and that you don't need a truckload of CGI to make something timeless.

Remember: there's a generation out there (one behind us) who thinks that "Turn the Page" is a Metallica song.
You know, there's a generation who thinks Easy is a song by Faith No More, and then another who doesn't even know who Faith No More was.

Buckle up baby, it's a long ride down.

I found 2 black hairs in my white moustache today. Talk about feeling young again!

Now, if 'you' find two black hairs in 'your' white moustache, when you get one and don't bother shaving anymore, and get excited, then, yeah, you've arrived. It's an honorary something or other, so I'm told. I think.

That's the same generation that doesn't realize Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings-No?

I have no "white" hairs. They're all ash blonde.

No I don't think that generation even knows what song Turn The Page is.

I'm in the Metallica generation, but since I've always been way more interested in real rock (from the 60's and 70's), I prefer Bob Seger.

I don't know what Wings is though.

In the early 80's I was digging through albums (remember those?) at a local shop. Two high school girls were opposite me. One picked up a copy of Abbey Road, showed it to here friend and exclaimed "Look! Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings!"

My friends and I used to say stuff like that in public to aggravate random people. Maybe these girls had the same sense of humor.

"What's the name of that movie where the bus couldn't go below 50 mph?"
"It's called Speed"
"No, no. Not that one, this one had Keanu Reeves in it. I'll think of the title."
