making the video and audio move independently

VEGAS 6 USER.

Thanks to an over active 2 year year old, the book for my Vegas 6 program is no where to be found. (I'm guessing shredded or flushed one page at a time) I'm currently working on a project and when I move the media to the time line I want to be able to unlock the audio form the video and move it about.

I'm sure there is an easy one click solution. Thanks to everyone who will be helping me with this and other inane questions.
 
Click on the audio and press "U" for "unlock."

Or, click the "Ignore Event Grouping" button in the toolbar, but that unlocks everything.
