I've had the Vinten Vision 3 kit for a while since I'd read only good things about it and wanted a tripod which would last a good while.
From my experiences thus far, it's quite good. QUITE good. I use Spring #2 to balance the HVX, and also have (for other cameras) Springs #1, #3, and #4.
I was wondering how good counterbalancing should be with the Vinten Vision 3 head. I've read that the setup allows for perfect counterbalancing with nearly any camera, and while I've found the counterbalancing to be pretty good, it still has a tendency to want to return to level position.
Any advice on how to use my system (Vinten Vision 3 2-stage CF tripod kit) to the best of its ability? Thanks everyone.
