Making colors 'Pop'

Hi guys, could anyone offer any advice on how to 'make colors pop' in CC using adobe premiere pro 2.0? I never really got that bit of cc, as I only know how to correct white balance and the rest would be limited to randomly fiddling around with adobe premiere controls. What should I use for color correction?

Try playing around with saturation to make the colors pop more. As for color correction in general, there are a number of good filters to use, but aside from Brightness/Contrast, and Hue/Saturation, the one that I use most is "color corrector."

Part of the answer is determined by what type of project you are working on.

Anything for broadcast will have a technical limitation on how much CHROMA you can give it.

For a home project to be shown only to your friends and colleagues ... give it as much as your TV can handle without "tearing " effects.

Best advice I can give you - pick up a book on CC (search this site for them). Its an art not a science but it needs to learnt what ever.
