Making a video 16:9 Online

Does anyone out there know how to upload a video to...say...Revver and have the player be true widescreen 16:9 (i.e. without the black bars)? I want people using a widescreen computer monitor (most of them are widescreen now) to be able to click to full screen and actually have it be full screen! I use a DVX100 and Final Cut Pro. I usually edit in NTSC DVC Pro. Thanks gang!!

It mostly depends on if the site shows videos in 16x9 or not. If the site will accept and display 16x9 videos as 16x9 then I'd assume all you need to do is submit a 16x9 source file. If the site only displays videos in 4x3 then there's not really anything you can do about it.

Im not sure about Revver, but Im sure that most sites like that don't offer the ability to upload 16:9. They usually down convert to 4:3 anyway. I could be wrong because Im sure there are sites out there that you can use that might give you that ability. I just read a few months back that youtube is in discussions to make their site HD. So it looks like its almost here but not yet. You find anything def let me know, thanks.

I may be mistaken but your using the DVX100....isn't that a 4:3 camera I didn't think it shot 16:9. It offers an option that adds bars on the top and bottom but that's not 16:9. I know there is a squeeze mode but I never used that on the DVX.
