i was wondering what camera technique or program i could use to create a room full of people with the same faces? i don't think the lock camera and split screen would work? would it? any ideas?

thanks

Can you please specify:
Same person many times over or
Different bodies, same face?
Do they overlap, one closer to camera and obscuring person in Back?

I would suggest shooting the person/face
in the required positions in the scene.
Of course the camera needs to be "Locked"
Meaning on the tripod and no movement at all.
Same exposure.

If motion is required, motion control rig would be the way ($$$)
and do multiple passes and composite them later.

Shoot also an empty room, without talents, later to be used for doing
difference mate in your NLE or Compositing software.

Lock off camera. Either shoot the same person multiple times in different positions in the room.
Create a roto matte or garbage matte around the foreground ones. See composite or editing software for details.

Option 2:
Locked off camera. Shoot room of people. Roto the guys head and duplicate it, once for each person. Overlay over that person. if the move much then motion track the person.

Option 3;
Shoot guy ith a still camera. Print out a bunch of 8 x 11 prints and cut them out.
Put wax glue on your extras noses and put photo in place. As long as they're facing forward you want see the 2D aspect.
