Making a P2 Card for $60?

I just saw a PCMCIA flash media adapter at best buy for $13.99. It looks just like a P2 card and fits in the PCMCIA slot of a laptop. You can fit 6 different kinds of flash media, (SD, Memery stick, etc...) Any chance this could work in the HVX200 with a 4, 8 or 16gb SD card?

Thanks!

No.

The P2 card is much more complex then a simple memory card. It is 4 zero defect SD cards in a RAID (meaning there is a controller).

You're not the first to hope it wsa that easy. But if you ever do gitter done, you'll have a line of people knocking on your door. :)

Keep in mind we've been at this for about 2 years now. Most any obvious solution has already been tried (and yes, I was one of the guys who shelled out for an SD->PCMCIA adapter to try and see if it worked way back in Dec. of 2005. It doesn't.)

No cheap adapter works. If it did, it'd be all over these pages here.
