Making a normal dvd, help for a dummy?

So I've taught myself enough FCP to do simple editing. I have yet to properly export a high-quality dvd. I can't seem to find anything so basic in either the FCP or DVDSP manuals. I have 2 problems; I have a anamorphic timeline which won't export as such, and all I want to do is have the highest quality dvd of my sequence, no markers or menus. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or website where it can walk you through how to go from completed sequence to a dvd which will play in (almost) any dvd player? (I'm running FCP 5.1.4) Thanks!

Its simple, really :) .

In FCP goto File > Export > Quicktime movie (not quicktime conversion)

Open up IDVD and drag and drop the file into the dvd. Then start mucking around with the menu's, options etc.

Cheers,
Nathaniel
