Making a dub for network broadcast

We have a video - shot on minidv (DVX), edited in FCP. We need to make a BetaSP or DigiBeta dub for a kids tv network that will be airing it.

Trying to figure out how to make the highest possible quality master tape.

Sure would appreciate suggestions.

Well you would need some type of out put card. Rather Kona or Black Magic. And you would just Print your video to THe DigiBeta Deck.

Another way and prob the best way for you. Is to call a local post house or lab and ask them how much it would be if you brought in a digital filme if they could put it to beta for you. THis way you would just export a uncompressed 10 bit Quicktime file and bring it to them on a hard drive.

if you are in LA..hollywood area.. i could do it for you. i work in a post house. depends on your deadline...email me. basically i would need the uncompressed 10 bit QT, and slate info and how much black..color bars..etc you need pre segment.

Allow me to refine my question.

We have exported the project as an uncompressed 10bit QT movie.

Is there a particular format that will give us highest quality results for network broadcast? From what I'm learning, taking the hard drive with the QT file to a post house is the best route - but then what format is best. And is there anything in particular I should expect the engineer to check/fix to make sure no problems for the network?

Thanks again
