Making A Director's Commentary Track

What would be the easiest way with vegas and architect or adobe encore to put my movie on dvd and offer a director's commentary track? thanks...

Re: Making A Director's Commentary Track

With DVDA 1.0, you'd have to have 2 different MPEG2 files: one with the normal audio and one with the director's commentary.

With DVDA 2.0, all you have to do is render out an audio file with the commentary and place it on the timeline as the second audio track.

To clarify -- in DVD-A 1.0, you couldn't have a switchable commentary track -- you'd actually have two discrete, self-contained video programs on the DVD, the video being the same but the audio being different. This is, shall we say, much less than ideal, as it would take twice the space on the disc.
