Making a copy of a DVD-R

Look ma no hands
I was just wondering what you guys do when you want to make a copy of a project you did, but have since erased from your hard drive. Basically, I'm just wondering what you use to make a copy of a DVD-R. I've never had to do it before, but I'm going to have to do it this afternoon when I get home. I'm just looking for a head start.

Thanks!

Re: Making a copy of a DVD-R

As long as the DVD-R isn't copy-protected, you can copy the .VOB files from the DVD and play them directly on the Vegas timeline. You can render the timeline as a DV AVI file.

Good luck! :)

Re: Making a copy of a DVD-R

I would just use a burning program (like HP RecordNow) and make a copy of the disc.

Unless you want to edit.

Re: Making a copy of a DVD-R

Sorry, I misunderstood the question - I thought you wanted to EDIT your DVD footage - yes, just use Nero or RecordNow or whatever wets your whistle! ::)
