makeshift peep hole?

Hey guys, I need a fake peep hole like the ones on hotel room doors. I guess I could make one but how? Any ideas?
 
You need to show the effect of someone looking through it? or you need to show it on a door? I don't get it... more info please.

Oh yeah... I forgot about this one...

I'd do all in post. Shoot the shot, add an extreme fisheye in post, slap a photoshopped "chrome" ring around the area you like , mask off the rest, and add a texture to outside area (ie. a door).

Five minutes, and I'll bet it'd look perfect.
