No one is debating with you or anyone else for that matter. I'm simply pointing people to a website which they are free to browse, post or not post. Videographers who go around video taping everything under the sun should be the last people on earth to limit what can and cannot be posted in a public forum.

'nough said.

Except politics.

The site you "simply pointed" us to is an obvious "Anti-Bush" site. Which means that you are posting your political views on this forum, which is not allowed. I'm non-political so I could care less, BUT Religion and Politics create heated arguments amongst the members and then mods must come in and clean house. :) So don't be surprised if this thread is locked down. And please don't scream anarchy or censorship. There are rules on the road and there are rules on this forum. We may not always like it but it sure beats the alternative, ...chaos.

It's one of the things we don't talk about... as much as we would sometimes like to, it's not a good idea.

Well it does say: "Cafe ala DVX
yap about whatever you want here."

It's a nice little section for people to post things "off topic." Am I missing something?

Take it for what it's worth. If people have nothing else to do besides comment on a simple link then that is their business. If it were posted in any other innapropriate place on the forum, then we got a problem. It is not necessary to comment on everything by the way. Contrary to popular belief, one can simply read something and then leave it alone. Not only that, nobody is even forcing anyone to visit the link. I may not like the the color of my neighbors car but that doesn't mean I have to say something about it. I suppose being in a forum full of audio/visual communicators who all have something to say in one form or another, commentary is expected. But I still hold fast to my right to post a simple link in the proper place in a non-threatening way.

They should do the same thing that I do on my forum plus others, if people really want to talk about it, make a thread with a huge warning in front of it and let it be an all open thread so mods dont do anything in there except if they want their opinion heard. If people get their feelings hurt, then dont go to those threads anymore.

BTW, i hate bush! (thats why i make my woman shave) LOL

you can hold as fast as you want, but if i were you, to avoid trouble, i'd just forget this. will it really upset you THAT much if you just let it go? regardless- someone is going to lock it anyway im sure, so why dont you just let it go.

YES. It's Jarred's forum and his rules are NO politics and NO religion. My three favorite things are Movies, Music, and Politics... but I love this forum because they do not allow politics. That gets nasty real fast. It is not because they dislike politics or religion but there are other forums I am on that let people post politics etc there and it gets real nasty at times.

But "saying something about it" is exactly what you're doing by posting that link. You're saying you don't like your President and there's a better way to remedy it, ...vote. Or do what Michael Moore did and put that camera to use.

The rules say "No Politics." ...If someone were to post a Pro-Bush website they would get the same kind of slack. So don't take it personally. This is still the greatest forum.
