Make Your Own Stuff

Yeah, these things are way cool. I'm waiting for the tech to mature a little more before diving in.
 
Imagine never having to scour second hand stores and prop rental joints to find that special hand prop you just gotta have! Just print the f**ker!!! How cool is that.
 
This would be an incredible thing to have. My costuming and prop making would actually come out decent, and it wouldn't take a month for almost nothing. Since I'm not very good at it, that is; people who are good at those things wouldn't see a huge advantage, but it could definitely speed things up.

I am sure that building a design for one of these machines is not easy, but hopefully, will become something that could be mastered with moderate effort.
 
Basic 3D modeling I can do, and more importantly it means that collaboration is possible on physical creations. People all over the world can put together a model that I could make into a thing. Probably wouldn't happen, but still a cool thought.
