Make your own Photography Books

[DivotDan]

Has anyone ever done this? I'm looking at putting together a book of my Ireland trip from last year. So far, I looked at Adoramapix first. I use them for all my other prints, but I don't like their slow web interface for building the book. I've also downloaded and installed the software for Blurb.com and mypublisher.com. So far, I like mypublisher the best. I'm about 1/10th of the way through building this thing.

If anyone has any experience with any of these companies I'd like to hear your feedback. Otherwise I'll let you know how mine turns out.

My wife does this kind of thing with Snapfish with my pictures of my son. The product is amazing. Thought she uses the out of cam files and doesn't let me go over them and tweak them. Grrr!!!!

They have a very easy and intuitive "virtual book" thing where you can drag yer photos in, scal and rotate them, choose color schemes and such.

I have been super impressed with them. Stellar work, and for an almost stupid low price.

I would LOVE to see some DVX compilations. The photos you guys post are incredible.

So Matt, the resolution holds up pretty well?

Very well. In fact, if you try and scale a photo beyond a certain point, a warning box appears telling you it will be pixellated.

Im not sure how they do what they do, but the prints are perfect.

I really like them.
