Hey all.

Thought I'd share a project I decided to make. Will definitely save you some cash if you are filming on a budget. Not saying that steadicams aren't awesome pieces of equipment, but not all of us have the cash to shell out over $750...

Why not just put your camera on a tripod and hold it at the center of gravity?

Either way you don't have a gimbal, but one way is free.

I did this years ago with a DVX100b. worked alrigth but man was it heavy! If you had a lighter cam like a DSLR you could probably get away with a PVC version with less weight that might make it easier to hold for longer time.
