Make it stop.......

I wonder how many times CDs (casting directors) want to jump out of the nearest window when they get told by some producer that they have to offer the lead in a film to an "A list" (offer only) "name"?

Don't the decision makers realize that casting the rather small batch of "sure things" time after time is not doing anything to help make better movies?

Recycled stories played by recycled actors does very little to inspire me to go spend $9 and several hours of my time to watch another stupid film.

I agree, I haven't seen a good movie in theatres in a long time, yea, I have seen funny ones, but not any really good ones in a while.

A long time ago, the film studios were worried that tv would kill off movie theaters. How oddly correct they might have been.

I also remember when movie stars snubbed their noses at the idea of working in television. Now, they not only do television shows and commercials, they star in movies about TV shows.

Where is my *A-Team* and *Airwolf* movie? Or what about *MaGuyver*, *Quantum Leap*, etc.

Give me something!!

Speed Racer is suppose to be in development. It might actually be cool to see it in live-action. Speed Racer had to be the most caffeinated show on TV. Every word out of people's mouths was an exclaimation!!!! "SPEED, NOOOOO!!!! WHAT?!?! TRIXIE!!!" Besides, who wouldn't want a girlfriend named Trixie? Not to mention a pet monkey. Cars, girls, and monkeys. I smell a blockbuster!!! .....or the worst film of all time.

Check out the website for a flash back to your childhood:

Yeah, that will most likely suck. You know what I am afraid of? How many quirky dorky teen comedies we are going to be inenudated with from the indie scene because of the success of Napoleon Dynamite. ND was good, but how many of the copies we are going to get will be?

"Cowboys and Aliens" (2006)-
Cowboys and Indians must lay their differences aside as aliens threaten to invade Earth."
