Major Issues with DVD Studio Pro 4

SP4 refuses to encode a 42-minute reference file of my film. iDVD accepts it, but SP4 won't. Also, it burns other reference files for the same OMFI material...just doesn't like this major, important one.

Any thoughts?
 
I would say it's a temporary issue, but Apple seems hell-bent on making Final Cut Studio and its ancillary software as buggy as possible. FCP 5 doesn't appear to be affected so far, but Compressor 2 refuses to encode anything--what with the "Unable to connect to background process" and all--plus QuickTime 7's inability to recognize MPEG-2 files. I'm about ready to go to Windows and Avid if this keeps up...
