Hey all,
Cutting a project shot in F5 mode (24p normal), on a 60i timeline, captured as normal NTSC dv. The interlace motion artifacts are quite evident and distracting on my NTSC monitor and on any subsequent DVD burns played back on my regular tv.
Everything else I've shot with the DVX was a F6, so no such problems before. I've also shot and cut plenty of 60i NTSC video and never experienced such evident artifacting. I'm assuming I've got some sequence setting or something set incorrectly, but can't figure out what.
Don't particularly want to have to run all the footage through cinema tools to remove the 2:3 pulldown; I'd rather keep the material in 60i. Is there even a way to just remove the 2:3 pulldown from an edited sequence rather than all the associated footage?
Sequence is set to NTSC DV, 29.97, lower field dominance.
I can post pictures of the artifacting if it helps.
