i guess the first frame of my tape was 60i cause the 24p is all strobing like a *****. this is a major important project, its like a documentary and a scene is all strobing. i dont have the tape and cant get it so is there i way to fix this. i will do anything.

The only sure method that I know of is to recapture the footage starting just past the point where you have interlaced footage. Also, be sure to use the scene detect option.

Hopefully, someone else will have a "fix" for this that doesn't require the tape.

Try this. Open Premiere Pro 1.5 and create a 60i project (NOT Panasonic 24a). Import the clip, place it on the timeline, trim the footage so the 60i frame is removed, output as a new AVI and it should work.

But, if you first frame ISN'T 60i, your problem might be that you didn't use "Scene Detect" when capturing your footage from your tape. Using it helps with the strobing.

ADOBE PLEASE FIX THIS. WE'RE TIRED OF BEING IGNORED ON THE PROBLEMS WITH 24P AND STROBBING.

I hope it works,

Justin
