MainConcept Encoder In Vegas vs . . .

. . . letting DVD-Architect do it? I seem to get better results when I render something as an AVI and then import it into DVD-Architect and let it do the encoding.

Specifically, when I render from Vegas with the MainConcept codec, the result isn't a full-screen image, and it's like I'm looking in the window of a very black wall on the TV. I don't have this problem rendering as an AVI and then dropping into DVD-A.

The DVD architect encoder is pretty good, I have had the best luck with Cinemacraft... you need to make sure though that you encode at at DVD-A's specifications so it doesnt need to re-encode.
