Cant find any freaking black and white effects, fade to white. Just.. none of the standard damn things you'd expect like in Windows Movie Maker. Anyone have this or know.. what the hell is going on?

Sony Vegas, Final Cut Pro, you know the score. I just love this thing. At the end of the day I'm not the editor, I get someone else to do that. There's my logic. Pass it off to people more experianced and work off them. Learn a fortune.

It's like Richard Hammond falling in love with that yellow crap car in South Africa and shipping it home. I think this could be the start of something..

It's so delicate, simple, and easy to use. Just like my last girlfriend. [JOKE!] Just no black and white with fade crap.

It was one of those gifts, think it was the mum or gran side. Got it for a birthday present, picked it up locally for around $100. Came with 4 other free pieces of software inside to. Not sure if theres a Mac version though..

man, i remember when I used Magix Video deLuxe 2.0 back in the day. it was great if you didn't want to fire up premiere (back in the day when I was rocking a PC). great for quick, easy edits and had some basic effects that were applied quickly and the export options were super simple (since i was using WMV formats and such).

but now I'm happy on final cut studio 2. just need a mac pro now lol.

I have used magix 11, and have since upgraded to 12.. Its the program you love to hate.. It does SO much for the $$, but the interface can be retarded at times. I had the most issues with actually trying to author a DVD once I had all the editing done.. Finally gave up and just exported each chapter to avi and used nero to author it..

Magix is probably the best bang for the buck, but god for bid you have any problems with it, compatibility wise.. UGhhh it can be frustrating..

Version 12 is advertised as supporting mp4, so I bought it for $39.00 Once you get it you realize it will not import mp4, you need to buy that feature, so I did for an extra $14 or so, and it didnt work..

Great software if your patient!!
