Magic Bullet?

Hi not sure if in right section, been viewing alot of clips on vimeo and quite a few that say they use magic bullet, what exactly is this, do you use it from with final cut pro 6 or do you export it into another software, is it easy to use or does it involve a while to learn like FCP?

They were probably using magic bullet looks. I love it and use it often for both subtle and drastic video filtering effects. Read about it with the link above. It is basically a filter package with a number of preset 'looks', combining color correction, mattes, flares, etc.

It's listed as a filter in FCP, but it will launch it's own interface (which is actually rock solid and easy to use) when you click the edit button.

I also use looks on a daily basis. Very easy to use, there are multiple preset looks you can
view in a small icon, then click on it to see what your frame will look like with the look applied.
I often use the old film and sepia looks, along with various film emulations and warm filters.
The soft focus can be applied outside of a changable circle, giving a "bokeh" look. Only drawback I've found is it often does not open right up in FCP 5.1.4, have to toggle between
several tabs to get it to open, but eventually it always does.

thanks guys looks great. So you can open in final cut then it opens its own interface then im guessing once you save it it reverts back to fcp?

Also I have a canon xh a1 which records interlace but I can still shoot 25p, do you think getting the magic bullet frames is necessary?
