Magic Bullet Rendered for 26 Hours But Changes Not Visible!

Hey everyone. I' looking for some help here. Thanks to some of you, I managed to cut my render times in almost half by getting an eSata II xpresscard for my MBP and a Sata II 7200 Spin drive instead of my FW400 drive.

Now....after a 26 hour render for an hour of video, and while I had a popup notification saying "Render Complete" I cannot see any difference in the footage. The MBL grading is not showing. The footage looks virgin. I do have two thin light blue lines where the red render lines used to be, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why the grading is not visible. Any ideas here? I'm soooooo frustrated after trying to get this project wrapped up for over a week. Thanks for everyone's patience and help getting me this far.

It looks like you forget to upgrade your ram as well....

Before you export your final copy you should render everything within FCP first. Heck just render a 5 second clip just to make sure it is even rendering. Also make sure that you have your graphics set to 8 bit rendering and not 10 bit.

Yep. Need more ram. Just redid the render in Color. It finally completed but for some reason the first 3 minute clip is not the same color as the rest. It looks the same in color, but not in Final Cut Pro. I'm trying to render just that clip in color again and then I'll sent it back to Final Cut and see if I can make it work. Strangeness! Lol. It also appears that I have to render the whole thing in Final Cut Pro again, since the red lines are back on the sequence. Can't wait until this is finished.

Yay! Got it figured out. That piece of clip still had a "Looks" effect on it. Everything is great now. Just adding credits and then I'm done. Thanks everyone!
